I purchased this for our RV sleep number bed. I guess I never knew there were "queen short" size bedding products and was delighted to find this one. It's just the right thickness (I already have a pillow topper on the mattress). I was looking for some added protection for the mattress. It's a perfect fit, including the pocket depth and stays in place during the night.Sort of thin but does add comfort. I think a two year old will be fine with it.We added this to a pillow topper on our short queen mattress in our motorhome, finally found something to hold everything together and provided a great night’s sleep, we recommend this for anyone with a short queen mattressThis seems to be a nice mattress pad. I bought it for a sofa bed which has a thin foam mattress, about 4 inches thick, and it seems to fit pretty well. It would definitely fit on a thicker mattress. I think that a mattress topper would fit underneath it as well. Have not used/slept on it yet so rating 4 stars.It seems that it is soft, comfortable and water resistant. We bought it for a hide-a-bed in the living room to use when company comes to visit. So far, the anticipated visits have not yet arrived! The company that we did have stayed in our guest bedroom. But we are sure that when it's called upon, it will do very well. We bought one a year ago for my sister-in-law, and she loves hers and so do her grown children who have used her sofa bed often.I liked this pad because it fit the mattress nicely. It stayed in place, did not bunch up. I was very pleased.It’s ok not thick at allHave slept on this mattress for a year now. Not as good as a regular, firm mattress, however, with back problems I am still feeling fine with it. It is firm, but you sink down. Hope this is helpful.
