I wore this as mother of the groom - was the perfect amount of sparkle/dressy - not too much, not too little. I loved the length too. I'm 5' 8" and the length hit me just at my ankle, so that it looked great with a small heel and I didn't need it hemmed. I was worried that the sequins around the arms would rub me raw over the evening, but they did not - I made it through unscathed! I received so many compliments...I would definitely recommend this dress. The capelet dress from the same designer was a close 2nd choice, but I'm very glad I chose this one. The bride asked me to wear sage green - this was called celadon, but worked perfectly.
