I love the longer length, I'm 5' 5" tall and the coat hits just above ankle. No more cold knees. The color is a beautiful shade of navy blue. It has a very polished look, something you could wear to type of event. I'm not sure how it will handle rain, but it takes a light snow/sleet very well. I ordered in my normal size (22W) and it fits perfectly, even when I layer. I will have to reinforce the buttons, they seem loose and I'm afraid they might fall off if stressed. I have to use a scarf with the coat because it doesn't cover my throat and upper chest. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with coat and would definitely order again.
